This event first started out 18 years ago as a celebration for Bill's birthday. Bill and Victor, who were College roommates at the time, would prepare some food for a few friends who would come visit for the occasion, with Victor preparing some dumplings while Bill ordered pizza. As the years went on, the promise of free food attracted more and more friends to the event, and with an increasing guest list came the preparation of more food to accommodate those attending.

 

This trend continued, with more friends attending and more food being prepared each year. Many of the friends who enjoyed the event would in turn bring more friends, who would then do the same, and so on. Over time, the event became more of a traditional gathering of friends amongst friends, where those with similar interests, temperaments, and mindsets would come together to play games, eat food, and hangout with one another.

 

As the party grew, so did its venue and aspirations. The location of the feast would continue to grow over the years, moving from a dorm room, to an apartment, to a house, to an event hall, and to even bigger event halls as the years progressed. Similarly, the food provided would increase in both quantity and quality, and the number of chefs assisting would increase as well, adding variety and increased dish throughput to the party's repertoire. Head Chefs, Sous Chefs, Helpers, Floor Managers, Quartermasters, Bartenders, Maître D, Test Kitchens, etc… The amount of coordinators involved in the event's planning and execution would continue to increase to meet the growing list of attendees, and with it the growing responsibilities of each person involved. With more than 100 people now attending annually, the event has become a grandiose experience for many to enjoy.
